Due to our impending house move to Gloucestershire and necessary reduction in stock we are, reluctantly, offering several of our lovely brood mares for sale, in foal. Please click on the for sale section.

Here, at Cotesbach, we breed with a herd of eleven pure bred mares, all certified by the National Foundation Quarter Horse Association of America with a high percentage of Foundation blood, with several at the top level of 100%.

We have collected and carefully chosen our mares over the years, for their kind, easy temperaments, their good conformation and looks and their lovely Foundation bloodlines many with the old ‘Legends’ close up in their pedigrees. Some have been ‘targeted’ and purchased as weanlings, some have been imported as adult brood mares after careful research and one or two are home bred (it is sometimes hard to resist a beautiful filly!)
We are proud to have got to know, as friends, the breeders of our beautiful imported mares from different parts of the US and to have the opportunity to continue breeding from these wonderful old bloodlines in this country. We hope you enjoy your visit to our mares.
