Burnin Pretty Easter (Easter)

Easter is Cotesbach’s most recent import. She came from Warner Quarter Horses, an excellent breeder of Foundation stock in Missouri.  We consider ourselves extremely privileged to have been allowed to purchase her and bring her over.  She is a beautifully built mare with a pretty head and kind eye and she presents a lovely picture with that glorious and ultra rare true silver grulla colouring.  She is 100% NFQHA Foundation and is a dun only producer. We brought her over with her lovely golden dun colt, Poco Easter Blackjac.  She has fulfilled all our expectations with her wonderful historic pedigree, good conformation and sweet disposition.  We are very much looking forward to her first foals for us.

Easter has a roll call of Legendary names on her pedigree. On her papers are Pretty Buck, sire of many Champions and a NCHA Hall of Fame inductee and himself son of the great stallion, Pretty Boy, leading broodmare sire and leading maternal grandsire.

The well known stallion, Blackburn, also features, famous as a leading maternal grandsire of AQHA Champions.  Interestingly, Easter’s Grandsire, Easter 86 Jakpot, is full brother to the legendary Hollywood Jac 86. He was never shown due to injury but was a successful sire and he had the distinction of being a son of the great King.

Poco Champ was an AQHA Champion and son of the all time great Poco Bueno.

Several lines go back to the particular favourite of Cotesbach, Hollywood Gold, with, further back the great Locks Rondo and Peter McCue, featuring heavily.
