Imported from Bohannon Farms, Kentucky, as a weanling in 2003, Misty is a very rare Foundation registered (87%) light Classic Champagne. She is a chunky, powerfully built mare with a wonderful character – totally trusting and trustworthy.  If a horse can have a sense of humour – she has it. She will be into anything, given half a chance.  The Champagne gene in her case, is black based, giving her the spectacular colour of a Weimeraner dog. She was trained by Lee Rutter as a youngster and she proved to be good to ride and quick to learn. Her pedigree goes back through superb, well known cutting and performance bloodlines. Her foals, by both our stallions, are delighting their owners with their easiest of natures and pleasing personalities.
